Bruin is 75 pounds and was born on May 21, xxxx and will be 6 years old next month. (May xxxx) Bruin is a New England Surrender, he has had a very unsettled life the last few months. He went to live with his former family at the age of ten months. Prior to that, it was said that he was born and lived at a kennel that trained protection dogs. As far as we know, Bruin has not been trained in any formal way. His family had changes in their situation, and Bruin was sent to live with a friend of the family until it was decided that he should be surrendered to Almost Home Rescue. Bruin lived successfully with his new foster mom, her adult son and 4 other large size dogs. Within the month, he was adopted to a family with several children ranging in ages from 6 to 18.
