Job Description:
Price Brothers Management is currently searching for EXPERIENCED Leasing Consultants for our apartment communities located throughout the Kansas City Metro
Job Summary
Conversion of telephone and office walk:in prospects to leases, resulting in maintained and increased occupancy, and the inherent responsibility to effectively communicate to existing residents and establish a successful renewal program. Provide support to other Leasing Consultants.
All qualified applicants must:
*Pass background check
*Have valid drivers license
*Be able to work weekends
*Have Multi:Family Leasing Experience
Responsibilities and Duties
*Respond effectively to telephone inquiries to generate prospective resident visits to the property.
*Utilize sales skills to demonstrate market ready product and availability to close prospects.
*Maintain a 35 closing ratio on prospects.
*Follow up with prospective residents.
*Monitor telephone and office walk:in traffic at property via guest cards and logs.
*Assist in off:site and on:site marketing
*Prepare reports and communicate with Property Manager on daily activity or ideas to promote leasing results.
*Prepare lease renewal notices; assist with marketing the property to retain residents and process lease renewals.
*Perform lease administration.
*Obtain information and complete lease applications.
*Conduct required credit and reference checks.
*Set up and maintain lease files.
*Perform other job related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
*Demonstrate effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
*Strong human relations and customer service skills, with the ability to maintain professional image.
*Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.
*Computer proficiency including but not limited to Microsoft Office products.
*Knowledge and practice of Price Brothers Management standard operating procedures.
*Knowledge of sales techniques.
*Strong attention to detail.
*Ability to learn and retain knowledge of operating the Property Management Software System.
*Good organizational skills.
*Professional telephone manner.
Education (level and type)
*High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
Required Work Experience
*Minimum number of years: 3 years : In some or all of the following areas: Direct sales or leasing position in property management environment.
Certifications and/or Licenses
*A valid driver license and any other licenses/certifications required by the state; otherwise, none.
Working Conditions
*Position may require a work schedule outside of standard hours, such as rotating work schedule or work schedule other than Monday through Friday.
*Position may require you to work at other property locations.
*Position will require the use of a personal vehicle.
*Must be willing
