POSITION SUMMARY: Stonegate Mortgage Corporation offers career opportunities for experienced Mortgage Advisors in our branch offices. The primary responsibility of this position is to effectively self:generate mortgage loan production from company provided leads, referral sources, realtors, builders, and consumer networking groups. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Represent Stonegate in the market in a positive manner, and network to create additional loan opportunities for the Mortgage Advisor and the company. Personally originate individual loan production. Complete an initial loan application with all consumers : either face:to:face, via telephone, or by directing the consumer online at our website. Follow the documented Stonegate origination procedures in detail, summarized as follows: Complete the loan application in its entirety. Input transactions into Stonegate Mortgage Corporation leads management system. Gather all consumer information needed to begin processing a transaction. Obtain consumer signatures on all required loan disclosures Run automated findings to obtain an Approve / Eligible transaction. Submit a complete file to processing Provide constant communication regarding consumer transactions to internal and external business partners, as well as consumers directly. Communicate effectively with all parties to the transaction. Communicate adequate turn time information. Set proper expectations for the completion of a transaction. Utilize resources and tools. Work with Operations staff to successfully complete transactions. Perform all other duties as assigned by Senior Manager. OTHER FUNCTIONS Desire to take personal responsibility to complete tasks and solve problems. Ability to perform tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision. Represent Stonegate Mortgage Corporation in a professional manner by dressing professionally daily while in the office or when attending events. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience: Must be properly licensed in all states in which they originate loans. Must have a proven track record of success in the mortgage lending industry or possess a degree in a related field.
