The division also serves selected other private and quasi-public entities that receive a material portion of their funding from the U.S. Government. Our function is to provide the "best of class" services to our clients, to assist other Black & Veatch business units in securing and performing services for U.S. Government agencies, and to offer our unique skill sets and expertise to Black & Veatch business units and their respective client bases. Primary Purpose Responsible for invoicing of assigned projects and ensures contract terms are followed regarding correct billing rates and schedules. This position works closely with Project Accountants and Project Controls personnel. This position will also answer Project Management questions regarding project billing criteria and invoice drafts. Works under close supervision. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Generates, audits and timely distributes draft invoices to Project Accounting, Project Management and/or Project Controls for review based on understanding of contract. Creates manual invoices as needed. Approves and mail invoices timely to support cash flow goals. Ensures billing rates or billing schedules are correctly attached to projects & match contract terms. Researches past due receivables and collaborates with project teams on collection activities. Provides support for client and annual B&V audit activities. Collaborates with Treasury to clean up on account" cash receipts. Coordinates research and analysis activities related to invoicing as required. Minimum Qualifications Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Work Experience Requirements: 2+ years related experience Preferred Job Qualifications Desktop PC use Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Project Management Systems Knowledge of Financial Information Systems Multi-tasking ability (Prioritize,organize,schedule work) Problem Solving skills (Identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve) Human Relations Skills (Written,Verbal,Client Service)
