This is a true series 70 not modern production in its correct properly serialized box. For reasons unknown the slide is marked Colts Mk 1V Series 70 9mm Luger The barrel is 38 Super, the clip is marked MEC-GAR and hand inscribed with the cal (38). It came to us from an older gentleman who was a target shooter. Perhaps he would use the same gun swapping out barrel and slide to shoot different ammo however he is gone now and not able to provide an explanation An observer has pointed out the sights are not original.. This gun is used but well cared for with normal signs of light use get back to me on my email or text
